OQC is the first company globally to integrate quantum computers into colocation data centres, setting a precedent for real-world quantum deployment. More recently, we achieved another global first: deploying our quantum processing unit (QPU) on-premise within the CESGA High Performance Computing (HPC) Centre in Spain – a breakthrough in hybrid architecture that enables quantum and classical compute to operate side-by-side on the same premises.
This pioneering deployment didn’t just connect CESGA’s FinisTerrae III supercomputer to a QPU over the cloud, it enabled native workload management ushering in a new era of tightly integrated, high-throughput hybrid compute for complex, real-world problems.

Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC) has deployed its enterprise-grade quantum compute system inside Equinix TY11, one of Tokyo’s most advanced and connected data centres — marking the first commercial-grade quantum deployment of its kind in Asia.
This deployment delivers private, secure, and low-latency Quantum Compute-as-a-Service (QCaaS) directly into the heart of Japan’s digital infrastructure. It enables customers across finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, and government to build and scale quantum capabilities via a hybrid-ready, colocation-based platform – without needing to move sensitive workloads off premises or across borders.
